Shadows and Lights not working in Ray-Traced 3D

When I am using lights in after effects it does not effect any of my composition and doesn't show shadows onto my shadow catcher?

Here are some examples:

This is the active camera view, as you can see no shadow any lighting on the text is showing, I do have the cast shadows option on as you can see.

I am still a newbie when it comes to after effects so it may be something obvious, any help would be much appreciated!

I have fixed the problem now, turns out I had 3D Draft mode on, which is a feature I did not know about, as soon as I turned it off all is working as intended now. Thanks for your help!

There appears to be no shading at all other than some ambient light, so something is fundamentally not working from the start. In any case, impossible to tell with so little information. System info, light settings, quality settings for the renderer and so on would be required.
