Using Dynamic Link on Multiple Devices?

Hi Everyone,

I own both an iMac and a MacBook Pro. I have After Effects installed on both devices, and Premier Pro installed on just my MacBook. Can Dynamic Link be set up between two computers using Creative Cloud? 

I would install Premier on my iMac, but I am unable to upgrade the OS past OS X Yosemite because some audio plug-ins I use need to remain 32-bit.

You need the same versions of the software and the same files to use Dynamic Link.

Short answer: No.

Dynamic link is the communication between Premiere Pro, After Effects and a few other Adobe video and audio apps. As Rick mentioned, dynamic link works only when Premiere Pro and After Effects are on the same version. For instance, Premiere Pro CC 2018 can't connect to After Effects CC 2019 via dynamic link. Can that Dynamic Link list be updated? there are a lot of missing versions now..... and it's the only list that turns up in searches
