Hi
I have a drop down menu with 4 words to choose from for the answer. However, the correct answer is showing slightly underneath making it easy for the user to get the answer correct.
The word has two letter p's which you can see on the image are showing.
Any idea if there is a way to extend the height of the drop down area so they are covered?
Cheers

Hello,
Welcome to Adobe Forums,
Which version of Adobe Captivate are you using ?
Are you using Drop-Down Widget or referring to Matching Question Slide ?
Thanks,
Vikram

Captivate 5.5
I believe it is "Fill in the blank"

Hello,
Fill in the blank slide will not give you a drop down, it gives you a blank Text box.
Please double check with your project.
Thanks,
Vikram

Sorry, Vikram you are wrong there. FIB questions have both possibilities: either you have a blank field to fill in, or you can let the user choose from a dropdown list with possibilities. And from the first screenshot it was already clear that this was a FIB field with a dropdown list. Please, do not confuse users.

Sorry, but thought Vikram (staff) would continue to answer.
I tried to replicate your issue, both in CP6, which is not your version (no Select anymore there), and 5.5 and was not able to see this. Which version do you use? Still have 4 and 5.0 somewhere installed also. I suppose you changed the font size of the sentence, and it seems like this was not applied to the Blank word. Did you select the whole sentence when resizing font?

Hello,
Sorry for the delay in response, I was in a different shift
If you answer is long then the breath size increases automatically but I do not see any option to increase the height (Except adding multiple answers).
Thanks,
Vikram

I've noticed this beahvior too. I was able to mostly fix it by making the longest answer the first answer in the dropdown list. However that goes out the window when you choose "Shuffle Answers" as an option.

I fixed it in the end. Deleted the current dropdown menu and redid it at a lower font (3/4 font sizes smaller) and it seems to have worked.
Thanks for your responses ![]()
