turn action figure in to character

Hi 

 

nice to join the community i have a wrestling youtube channel 

and i would like to use my action figure as a puppet and make it talk

 

i am new to this is there anyone or any tutorial that can help

There is the adobe docs of course which has tutorials, sites like https://www.okaysamurai.com/CHFAQ/ with lots of useful links when things go wrong, and a series i did a few years back (so getting out of date a bit) which turns a photo of a toy wookie into a puppet https://extra-ordinary.tv/2018/10/22/project-wookie-a-beginner-youtube-playlist/

    Thank you i would also like to ask i would like my character to point at the screen i have downloaded a puppet and put in to the right group is there a tutorial on how to get the puppet to move his hand in the scene and point

    To move hands the normal way is to use a "dragger". To change hand poses, use a "swap set" of "triggers" (you have to draw each hand pose then swap the artwork as needed).

     

    Try looking for those terms in user guides etc.
