Keep getting message that the product I am trying to load is not an Adobe Genuine Product

I keep getting a message that says Installation failed.  The product you are trying to load is not a Adobe Genuine Product and appears to be counterfeit!!!??  What do I do next?  The products were purchased from Adobe

    I am trying to install CS6 on my new computer.  I used the download from the My Adobe site.


    Please update Adobe Application Manager from the mentioned link: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4773

    John;

    Do I have to access the CS6 upgrade via the Cloud. I didn't think the Cloud would be in effect until the middle of next month. I don't want to suscribe to the cloud and thought by purc

    hasing the upgrade now I could avoid the Cloud.

    Please advise.

    This error can also occur if the download of the installation files is corrupted.  Almar1940 which Adobe software or service are you trying to download and install?
