Why do I have multiple versions of Photoshop,PremierPro, and Dreamweaver?

Hi, I recently upgraded to the full Cloud package of all the apps.  The Cloud then downloaded a new version of three programs.  So now I have two versions each of Photoshop, PremierPro, and Dreamweaver.

Is this necessary?

Should I uninstall the previous versions?

Thanks.  Please be kind, I have a lot to learn.  Been out of the loop for about ten years now and am scrambling to catch up.

If you don't need the previous versions, feel free to uninstall them using the procedures required by your computer's operating system.   Personally, I like to keep older versions on stand-by until I'm certain I won't need them again.

Thanks!  I was concerned that they might share files or something.  Just trying to uninstall Dreamweaver CS3 was met will all kinds of warnings.  Haven't even tried to uninstall the old CS5 yet.  Plus, I was concerned about how much space they are taking up on my computer.

CS3 and CS5 take up only space if you have CC. If You’re using Encore, keep CS5 Encore (if you do not have CS6 Encore, as that one is not included in any current CC.
