Msg "application was unable to start correctly 0xc000007b" RIGHT AFTER updating programs!

Hi all,

I just updated most of the Adobe CC programs yesterday to the 2017 versions. Immediately after this happened, not one of the updated programs would open. They all returned the same message: "application was unable to start correctly 0xc000007b. click OK to close the applications." The few that were not updated are fine. This obviously happened because of the update. (Yes, the computer was restarted, etc.) All of the questions I've been able to find about this error are from several years ago. PLEASE, somebody has to know what's going on here!!
