Replace footage needs update - should open where the file lives

Please fix the way Replace footage works so that when you look to replace a file, the window opens TO WHERE THAT FILE IS CURRENTLY LOCATED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Todd, thanks for sharing the feedback! We'll do what we can to get this updated. It looks like right now, it opens the File Explorer or Finder to the last place I imported from. Makes sense that it would open to the last known location of the file selected.

But it doesn't. Sometimes yes it does. But if I bring in a new item, then then want to replace another item it will open from that latest folder accessed.

The media relinking in AE is so bad.  I'm amazed it's still like this
