Hello,
I've been trying to execute very simple vector artwork (with the extrude and bevel command) for several hours, but due to this error, I've been unable to make any progress whatsoever. There is no solution online that has worked for my issue even though I'm receiving the same error message that many others have seen on Illustrator. I am using the newest, current version (25.4.1) on a brand new computer with plenty of available RAM/disk space.
Could you please tell me how to avoid this error and clear up the necessary space to continue working in Illustrator?
Thanks

How much RAM? What OS?
Can you share the simple Illustrator artwork?
WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Transfer, CC filesharing?

8 GB RAM (total) with over 5 GB remaining
Windows OS
I'm simply trying to extrude and bevel a basic rectangle with the 3D effect...which I am unable to do, and instead I continue to receive these error messages. I have tried multiple troubleshooting options including clearing the clipboard, changing the total paging file size in my system settings, downloading older/newer versions, restarting my computer, and resetting Illustrator preferences.

8 GB is barely enough to run the System in current OSes (both Windows 10 and Mac Bug Sur). You might get by with 16 GB but that's the accepted minimum.

Hi there,
Sorry about this trouble. I would request to share a few more details like:
- Are these errors occurring while working on a specific document? If yes, could you please share the document with us? You can upload it to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link.
- Where are you saving the files (Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System/ External HDD)?
- When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates, or web extensions installed recently.
Also, I would agree with @Larry G. Schneider; however, you may try the steps shared in this help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/not-enough-memory-illustrator-cc.html). If this doesn't help, try resetting the workspaces (Got to Windows menu in Illustrator > Workspace > Reset (current workspace) and let us know how it goes.
Thanks & Regards,
Anshul Saini
