How can I resize an object using the dimensions of another like an eyedropper

Hello all,

I have a bit of a problem. I want to know if there is a way to resize an object by copying it's values the same way that the eyedropper tool works for color or text.

For example, i have a box that is exactly 296x140 pixels and another that is 290x140 pixels. Is there a way to use some sort of eyedropper tool with the second box selected to copy the width of the first box?

I know that for my specific examples there are easier ways to do it, but i have to resize multiple objects using a template file so it would help me a lot to be able to copy the size values of one object for multiple objects in the same way that i described.

Currently, the thing you are looking for is not implemented by default.

There may be scripts with similar capabilities.
