How to show library swatches in the swatches window?

I have created and saved a new swatches library which I will be reusing on many projects. When I start a project I will be opening this library each time, but when I do this it opens as a separate window (please see below).

At this point I have the colors that I am going to use and a swatches tab which I don't need. Therefore instead of opening the library in a separate window I would like to open it so the colors show in the swatches panel. This way I have the colors in one place and can add more and resave the library if need be. Or otherwise if I would change the default swatches that appear to those of my custom swatch library that could work as well.

Is there a way I could achieve this?

Create a new document of your preferred size.

Open your custom swatch library.

Shift click to select your swatches in the library you’ve opened.

Select Add to Swatches from the fly-out menu.

Save the document in the Illustrator applications folder > Support Files > New Document Profiles.

When you create a new document based on that profile, your swatches will be there.
