SemiBold and Semibold - styling of name causes font issue

Hi - this is probably a quick fix but I can't figure out the answer.

I have Open Sans downloaded from Google Fonts and their styling is "SemiBold." The documents I'm using have it styled as "Semibold" and it's making it so there's always a "missing" font. How can I merge the two so that I don't get this font issue?

One other possibility is that when someone made a style, and chose SemiBold, in reality they should have picked Semibold in the pick list. It could be that the font IS the same already, but a style was setup incorrectly. It isn't likely that Open Sans exists in both versions named slightly differently. My Open Sans, for example, is named Semibold; not SemiBold.

Therefore, I would suspect Character Styles contains a style for SemiBold; but it should be Semibold in the pick list if you were to edit that Character Style. It is an easy mistake to make.

Have you edited any paragraph and character styles that may be calling for the Open Sans SemiBold?

I'm working on a collaborative document and don't want to mess it up for everyone else. I'm looking for a solution where I change my installed font name from "SemiBold" to "Semibold"

Unless you install the same fonts, any fixes you make for you will create the same problem in reverse for them. You have pointed out though an odd type industry annoyance: some fonts are SemiBold, some are Semibold, and some are Semi Bold. Computers can only tolerate one answer!
