Why are my text boxes suddenly saying "Opentype properties are not applicable" and won't link.

This is totally out of the blue, one second all my text boxes work fine, not a problem.
im using the same font, in fact the same paragraph style  Ive used in documents for my assignments for months. In fact the very last text box with the same fonts and same paragraphy styles is operating fine and I can make new linked text boxes with those.

But all of a sudden without me doing anything I can think of all my text boxed get a big white and blue O added on the bottom and when I try and click the bottom node to link to a new text box I get 

Opentype properties are not applicable

and it won't link to other text boxes.

Thus totally stuck and cannot continue my work

I tried to package the indesign file with the photos and fonts. But the Uploader won't allow zip files and cant upload all the photos and fonts.

But the problem has started on page 39 with the Throne Page Development test box in the middle.

What on earth has happened? And how do I fix it.
