Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

hello!i’ve just finished a photo project & i’m needing to share the photos with my client for them to download — these are engagement photos so the likelihood of them being used on socials or printed is high.i’m wondering if using the shared albums feature will allow my client to download the photos at FULL resolution?i want to ensure there is no loss in quality if transferring them this way. thank you!!

I'm using Lightroom Desktop 9.6 on macOS Tahoe 26.6.2. I can't find the Cloud / Local switch.The left panel is open (I'm in Grid view), but at the top of the panel I only see "Add Photos", then Learn, Discover, All Photos, Albums, etc. There are no Cloud or Local buttons anywhere (see screenshot attached).What I have already checked:- I'm using the desktop app, not Lightroom on the web- Pressing P only shows/hides the left panel- Full Disk Access is enabled for Lightroom in System Settings- I quit and restarted Lightroom / checked for updates in Creative CloudHas the Local mode moved in version 9.6, or is there a setting I need to enable? Any help would be appreciated.

Since updating to LR 9.6 (Windows 11 10.0.22631) presets that have been applied with a reduced amount (e.g. 50 instead of 100) will reset to 100 when moving to the next photo or applying further settings to the same photo.Previously, when I applied a preset I could reduce the amount with the slider or by entering the amount. The amount was saved and the preset has been applied with the respective intensity. This could be easily used to adjust the mood of different photos to the same level.Now, when reducing the amount from 100 to e.g. 50 the adjustment only remains temporarily but resets to 100 when other settings are applied or I simply move to the next photo. Even the thumbnail in the list changes instantly back to a intensity amount of 100 of the applied preset.

The latest releases of Lr Mobile and Lr web are riddled with bugs. It's so frustrating as I've had photos from August which I'm unable to complete. The share to Google Photos option simply doesn't work at all from the Web version irrespective of what device or browser is used. It works for a single photo but not when many are selected. The box to connect simply doesn't appear. You can replicate by selecting several photos and then choosing the Send to Google Photos option from the bottom right. Nothing happens. I've tried several machines and several browsers including Chrome, Edge, Samsung and Brave.  Annoyingly the option works on my phone but the ability to select multiple photos at once also no longer works so I have to tediously select the photos one at a time. Not ideal when there's several hundred.  It's really not good enough for a paid premium product.

Hello, i use lightroom cloud on my phone, i import some of this fotos only.. In lightroom cloud i can see wich fotos have been dowmnloaded… when I make a selection of this fotos to erase them from my cellular, lightroom cannot do it! ..Thanks for helping…Antoine

Since I changed my phone, I can't connect to Lightroom Mobile. When I select connect with Adobe ID, it opens an Error Window : "bad_request Request parameters failed to meet all constraints". I'm on the last version of Lightroom 11.5.31 and the last version of Android 16 (August 5 2026).I can connect directly on Google, on account.adobe.com, but not on Lightroom Mobile. On my Mac, the photo I’m editing is white & bright, while on my phone after export, is washed out, dark & orange. I don’t have true tone on, I don’t have reduce white point on, I export on sRBG. My screens aren’t calibrated in any way. I have to keep editing & airdropping the photo to myself to check if it’s how I actually want it to look.   I’ve looked everywhere for a solution & all I’ve gotten is basically “edit blindly, there really isn’t a solution.” 

HeeeeyFor quite some time now, I’ve been getting the error “No retouchable areas could be found” when using the Retouch feature in Lightroom Mobile. I’ve restarted and updated my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app, and made sure everything is up to date, but the error still persists, even when there are clearly suitable areas in the photo that should be retouchable.

After the April 2026 update, the search function seems to have (somehow) gotten worse. I know that the update says it addresses search problems but it seems to have broken things.In all of my photos in Lightroom, I identify people by name and put them into the captions. Prior to this, I could search lightroom and all of this person’s photos would show up. Suddenly I am getting the most BIZARRE results when searching people’s names. The name “Cait” brings back a ton of cat pictures for example - i guess it thinks i am looking for cats? Not everything needs AI. My entire workflow has been disrupted by this, does anyone know how to fix this?

Why does Lightroom on iPad not receive updates and new features at the same rate as Lightroom Mobile? This currently forces me to keep both apps installed and switch between them depending on which feature I need, which is not very convenient and makes the overall experience feel unnecessarily fragmented.I’m using an M5 iPad, which is significantly more capable than my phone in terms of processing power, screen size, storage, and overall workflow potential. Because of that, it’s frustrating to see features arrive on the mobile version first while iPad users have to wait significantly longer to receive the same functionality.I understand that the iPad version may not be able to compete feature-for-feature with the full desktop/PC version of Lightroom, and I’m not expecting it to. I love the remix tab, I see so many great photos and also get to edit them and give them my spin, but in order to have those photos I would love to have the ability to download them at full resolution instead of screenshotting and losing all that information. Anyone else thinks that would be a great feature? 

Is it possible to re-import photos previously imported in lightroom cc? I have gone in to edit my product photos this morning and the photos I need aren't there so I must have accidently deleted them... I have attached my camera to import again and the photos are blacked out with 'previously added' on them when I hover over with my mouse. I have right clicked and the option to 'import this' is there but it doesn't do anything when I click on it. any help would be much appreciated, I don't have time to re-take photos!

Algo que he estado esperando desde hace tiempo es que Lightroom permita organizar los paneles de edición en bloques independientes en pantalla, similar a como funciona Photoshop. Así se evitaría tener que desplazarse hacia abajo (scrollear) constantemente para pasar de un módulo a otro (como Color, Detalle, Efectos, etc.).¿Existe actualmente alguna forma de configurar la interfaz de esta manera o sigue siendo una limitación?
