Have you all noticed that 12.4 feels a lot snappier?

I just got it and haven't put it to really serious work yet - but this was so obvious I noticed it right away.
 
Library browsing now feels practically instant, Develop loading almost instant, and certainly close enough not to be a bother in any way. And this is with 60MP raw files! I had gotten so used to these small lags that I thought it was just how it had to be.
 
We've been hearing "enough with the fancy stuff - fix the application!" - and that's just what they did.

Yes it's snappier, but that would down to performance being one of the focus areas for this update. It was covered in the 'LrC 12.4 Feature Summary' document.
