Hi,

New auto tone fot vibrance and saturation is really frustrating.

I've the need to disable it on these 2 parameters.

Is it possible?

Obiusly there is need of more control over the "auto" feature.
Lightroom is really basic in some aspects and watching out other competitors would be a good think for Adobe (and also for us client).
Tx in advance

Tx for your answer,, but mine is not a semantic question.

And mine is not a semantic answer! See New features | Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC and New features summary for the October 2017 and later releases of Lightroom Classic CC

If you don't like it or feel you "need of more control over the "auto" feature" (oxymoron) then the best place to make your views known is on the Lightroom Feedback forum Lightroom Classic CC | Photoshop Family Customer Community

The bottom-line is that "Auto Tone" will never provide the desired rendering for everyone on every image type. Some images will require additional adjustments. If you're happy with the Auto Tone results except for the application of Vibrance and Saturation consider yourself very lucky! Create a Develop preset with Vibrance = 0 and Saturation = 0. After Importing files and applying Auto Tone follow that with one more step by applying this preset to the whole batch.

Tx, for the help.
Often i need to render many images together, so i start whit "auto tone", than fine tune single image when needed.

Now i'm working the way you say, but mor control on the auto function could be usefull for me.

Don't use auto-tone if you want to drive the controls. Auto-tone is based on algorithms that are a result of analyzing millions of photos. There is no magic bullet that will hit the mark on every image. If you have predictable results because you are frequently in the same location with the same conditions, create a preset that will work for you when you are processing a large number of images.

The LR 6 Auto did a pretty good job and didn't mess with saturation and vibrance.  Any clue on why they decided to add those adjustments?

There is no way to control which of the sliders are affected by Auto Tone.
