Why is Lightroom automatically cropping my raw files when I import them into photoshop?

Hello everyone,

Lightroom is automatically cropping my raw files when I import them into photoshop.

This problem started when I move from lightroom version 10.4 to 11.4.1. Before the update I never had this problem doing the same thing.

I usually use a preview 1:1 crop when I shot with the camera (I need to do this preview to fitting the final work). Then, when I import the photos to lightroom I re-crop them to the original version 2:3 to do the edits. So far so good. The problem comes once I have the photos cropped to the original versio 2:3 and I import them into photoshoop, they appear cropped again to 1:1.

When I'm importing the files to photoshop I observed on the history that lightroom is making to steps automatically "from metadata" and "import". If I go back to the "from metadata" history step, I can see the crop happens there.

Any help would be much apreciated!

Thank you

Photos were taken with 5d Mark IV and processed on Macbook Pro 14" M1

Are you cropping using the crop function on the right, or are you zooming in via the Navigator on the left?
