Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Images render differently when you zoom in after brightness edits. Tested on 9.6 on MacOS 27 on an M5 Max MacBook Pro with compressed raw files from my a7R V. Seems to always be present to varying degrees but most noticeable after large changes, particularly if done with the curve settings.

Look, we users build up muscle memory when using your apps, why can’t you just respect that and not move things around? Some of us have spent many many years with these apps. If new features get introduced, put them somewhere else without moving what is already there?In the iPad version of LR the delete button (for deleting selected photos) is now not he other side for some reason. This isn’t a huge problem, but I don’t get what the design philosophy you guys re operating by, is. Is the team just making changes for the hell of it? Like do they have a quota of code they need to hit and that results in stuff like this?TLDR: recognize people have muscle memory built up with your apps and don’t move buttons around.its getting to the point where I don’t wanna update anymore because there’s nonsense changes like this way too often. After rotating a radial mask (~25° or more), moving the mask causes it to increase in size with each drag. Translation appears to trigger scaling, making the mask impossible to control.Occurs on macOS using a trackpad (Lightroom Desktop 9.2 and 9.3). Why does Lightroom on iPad not receive updates and new features at the same rate as Lightroom Mobile? This currently forces me to keep both apps installed and switch between them depending on which feature I need, which is not very convenient and makes the overall experience feel unnecessarily fragmented.I’m using an M5 iPad, which is significantly more capable than my phone in terms of processing power, screen size, storage, and overall workflow potential. Because of that, it’s frustrating to see features arrive on the mobile version first while iPad users have to wait significantly longer to receive the same functionality.I understand that the iPad version may not be able to compete feature-for-feature with the full desktop/PC version of Lightroom, and I’m not expecting it to. After the April 2026 update, the search function seems to have (somehow) gotten worse. I know that the update says it addresses search problems but it seems to have broken things.In all of my photos in Lightroom, I identify people by name and put them into the captions. Prior to this, I could search lightroom and all of this person’s photos would show up. Suddenly I am getting the most BIZARRE results when searching people’s names. The name “Cait” brings back a ton of cat pictures for example - i guess it thinks i am looking for cats? Not everything needs AI. My entire workflow has been disrupted by this, does anyone know how to fix this?

When I view the RAW image in file explorer through the open with ‘photos’ option, and I compare the same image to what has been imported into Lightroom, I can see I have lost a very small amount of the image (perhaps 1% of each side of the image). I have searched the web for about 3 hours now and found no reason why this might be, or any solution. Just to clarify- I don’t have any ‘Optics’ settings on, like Lens Correction that changes the image on import. The image is also in full and no crop has been applied.The only have two camera and this issue is there for both- Panasonic GX80, and an older Nikon D200- The Nikon D200 is the camera I noticed this issue with, and the issue is worse on this camera than the Panasonic (it’s so so slight on the Panasonic and really takes some zooming in to see that’s it happening- but it’s still there!. The cameras are set to their full aspect ratio. I don’t understand why this is happening, and it’s obviously quite upsetting that Lightroom is removing

I have Panasonic Lumix S9 and Lightroom on Samsung mobilephone. I use Lumix Lab to import raw files into mobilephone and thenI import raws into Lightroom. On Lumix Lab, On Samsung Gallery, on EXIF reader time is 8:48. But on Lightroom time is 9:48. So, one plus more. I live in Finland and we have that daylight savings stuff. Is that the reason LR shows time wrong but everything else shows it correctly? Nikon and Fujifilm raws are imported correctly.

The"subtract" option in masks, when selected, tends is initially operating as an "add".  Consequently it means needing to "convert it".  This occurs regardless of the masking type.

I was uploading some photos onto my Lightroom and then I noticed all my albums were gone. They just disappeared, nothing in the trash or deleted. They were gone on all my platforms including web and mobile.  Some context: I did try to change my membership but I was not able to because I was already subscribed to Lightroom.

Mein Katalog mit Vorschauen ist ca 110GB großWenn ich den Katalog speichere und sichere werden ca 150GBtye Speicher während der Speicheraktion aktiviert, die aber nach der erfolgreichen Speicherung wieder freigegeben werden.Ich habe aber ca 360 GBYte Speicherplatz belegt in Systemdaten, die ich nicht lokalisieren kann und meine Vermutung ist, das dies alte Lightroom Cache sind, die bei Crash der Lightroom Applikation aus der Vergangenheit übrig geblieben sind und sich nicht eigenständig löschen.Frage : Wie kann ich Lightroom Cache lokalisieren, die in Systemdaten schlummern?Freue mich über jeden Hinweis
