Well I'm a user of 60 years of age so clearly above 18 yo but still generative fill is greyed out. How can I let Adobe know how old I am. I do not find an account setting on my adobe account that asks for my birthdate or age.
WORKS! SOLUTION: Go to Creative Cloud app > Open Behance. It will ask for your age, must be more than 18 year old. Once its done, relaunch Photoshop Beta. It should work 100%.
It is WILD that this was indeed the solution. Some weird setting (or lack of) for a month and year of your birth in Behance causes this feature NOT to work..
So open your Creative Cloud app, on the left scroll ALL the way down (second last button for me) and click on "Behance" and add your birthday month and year (you must be 18+ years old to use Generative Fill).
i have updated the program, unistalled and reinstalled it, then updated it again Adobe Photoshop Version: 24.6.0 20230520.m.2181 4e0245f x64 i have the Creative Cloud All Apps 100GB i have set it all rgb 8 bit, i followed all the steps i seen everyone else doing and its still greyed out with no message or anything.
i am over 18, but i dont know where i can put that to confirm it
How stupid is the programming that bases whether something is activated or not on information that Adobe doesn't have (unless you sign into Behance). No where else does Adobe ask for Month/Year of birth, but then checks that to see if a new function will work. I'm guessing everyone's age is either 0 or how long they've been signed up for CC.
My thoughts exactly. It's kind of amazing that no one at Adobe asked 'do we even know the age of our users?' before introducing a restriction based on that information.
It's not related to Behance. I just needed any Adobe service which requires age confirmation, and I knew Behance does. Can't imagine why it's not on the Adobe Account page though.
