"To access Firefly-powered features within Adobe apps, you must have genuine Adobe apps.

Hi, I am receiving the above message when trying to use generative fill in photoshop 25.9.1. It has been working fine up until now without any issues.

My subscription is via my place of work. My apps are genuine and are installed and updated via the Creative Cloud Desktop tool.

@shahed4922 if you are an enterprise customer, check with your admin to make sure they have enabled Firefly.

Hi all - there are several reasons this message would pop up.

1. You do not have a current subscription to a plan that includes Adobe Firefly.

2. You are using a VPN to connect and are blocked due to geolocation.

3. If you are using a business account/enterprise or teams - Your Admin has to allow access.

4. Your Firewall is blocking access - check router and Windows Firewall where applicable.

5. At one point or another you had an illegitimate version of Adobe software installed and it is still detected.

If none of these apply - contact Customer Service to validate your account status.

@Rai Serrano @HARUN OR22384472vcfr are you on an Education license or using an SDL account? If so those are blocked as well.

How do I check what kind of account I have? I bought it and have it installed in two of my computers, it's not a shared account, I bought it right on the adobe website, it's being working for a long time but now it's not working. FYI I still have almost 300 credits for firefly, so it doesn't make any sense. I tried to contact support but couldn't go further of the AI assistant that after hours or chatting they never fixed anything, the whole chat was "we're working to solve it" and nothing never happened.

@Rai Serrano reinstalling will not change anything FWIW, the service is a cloud based offering meaning if there is an issue it is not the software itself.

Did you ever find a fix to this? I am having the same problem at work. My organization has Enterprise and I have had no issues until now using generative fill, but today this message popped up.

Hi @Kevin31536085fdcy , as @Kevin Stohlmeyer said below, it is possible your IT Admin has blocked this feature or not updated it.. check this thread and see if this applies to your situation:
