Photoshop could not open the file because of a program error

Hey there!

I'm currently desperate as Photoshop is not opening one of my work files anymore. 

I've tried everything: I've restarted my Mac, updated Photoshop, ticked off the "Use Graphics Procesor" option under performance settings. Nothing has worked.

It's definitely not my hard drive either, as I had a copy of the file saved locally on my Mac, and I'm experiencing the same issue.

Can anyone help please?
