Clone Stamp and Healing Brush Overlay offset locks after keyboard shortcut and moved - Photoshop

Once an adjustment is made to the overlay using the keyboard short cut the offset is locked and the ovelay stayes locked to the offset and changes once moved. It doesn't stay in the preview when moved around like it does when it is created and not altered. Looking at the offset values in the tool ptoperties the numbers don't change when adjusted but do when not adjusted.

Appreas to be another bug with 2020

Hi there,

Would you mind sharing your complete workflow, so that we can try reproducing the issue at our end?

Also, in the meantime could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if it helps? https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes and actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

You may also try updating Photoshop to version 21.0.1 and let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Sahil

Have the Clone Source window open. Click on Clone Stamp or Healing brush, select a source with an edge. The overlay is visable and if you move it around you can see the X & Y values in the offset  area of the window change with the movement.

Use a keyboard shortcut to make an adjustment then move the overlay around again as if you were going to place it where you want to make the clone. You will notice the overlay changes but the offset values do not.

The overlay will actually show the source relative to where the offset values are rather than being fix at the point of the source
