Error 16 Photoshop CS6 on mac OS 10.10.5 Yosemite

Woke up this morning to Error 16.  It wants me to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop cs6. But there is no uninstall app on my computer. Any ideas? Thanks!

Open Terminal

Copy and Paste this command:  sudo chmod -R 777 /Library/Application\ Support/Adobe

ok. Nothing happened. After I  pasted the command, it asked for my password. After that, I was right back at the original Terminal prompt.

That command does its job but writes no messages.

When looking for SLStore, are you aware of the difference between /Library and ~/Library, and how to go to these folders even though they are hidden?

Thx!  But there is no SLStore folder in Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore.

 

Not sure if you saw but I have CS6, not Creative Cloud.
