How to give screen printing trap in photoshop?

Hi everyone

im create screen print designs trapping are manually.its steps are

1.im separate colours in channels.

2.im select trapping colour channel without after print colours channel.

3.im create new channel and give colour to selection.

4.trapping colour channel selection expand to decide pixels.(channel selectin-select-modify-expand selection window 3pixels)

5.im press keyboard shift+cntl+alt and step 4 genarated channel.

i think its big path to trapping.can you support learn eazy system to trapping in photoshop?

sometimes create 6, 7 colours.im try it.but its not good trapping in tone designs.

Photoshop’s Image>Trap command works on composite CMYK images, or a selection of Spot Channels. For screen printing you will probably want to setup the separations as Spot Channels. In the Channels Panel select the range of channels you want to trap, choose Image>Trap, and choose the desired trap width and unit. Here I have a rectangle of Pantone Purple knocking out of a rectangle of Pantone Blue—both channels have to be selected in the Channels Panel to apply the trap:

I have the channel’s Ink Solidity set to 70% so the trap is visible on screen:
