Photoshop 23.1 Mac OSX 12.0.1 (2021 Macbook Pro 16" M1 Pro)

I received a new laptop for xmas. Used Apple migrate to transfer over to the new Macbook Pro M1 from my older Macbook pro. Photoshop updated to 23.1 and now my third party plugins will not show up. I have spent the last 4 hours searching and trying everything with no luck.  I am hoping someone can help solve my issue. Usually I can get them to work after each photoshop udpate but now they are no longer popping up.

I have three plugins I need... Portrait Professional, Alien Skin, and Imagenemonic.

I have followed the instructions from each of the websites with no luck. Copied the plugin folder from Photoshop 2022, from my old mac and replaced it on my new mac. Reset that back to original install. Reinstalled Photoshop once. All with no luck.

The one thing I cannot grasp is that the option to enable third party or altnerate plug ins folders from Photoshop preferences>Plugins is no longer there as an option with the 23.1 update.

Looking forward to any insight you all may have. Thanks.

If your old Mac used an Intel Processor, then the plugins won't run without using Rosseta 2 (emulates an Intel Processor) under your new Mac with an M1 Processor.

Hi!

Here are two links that might be helpful to you--This one is a thread from another question about 3rd Party Plugins:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/plugins-aren-t-showing-up/m-p/10218034

And this one will help you troubleshoot:

Let us know if this helps or if you are still having issues.

Thank you for the swift reply. I used those two articles earlier to torubleshoot and solve with no luck. Using the Creative Cloud Plugins folder did not change anything. My only third party plugin that is working is my Loop Deck and its installed from the Creative Cloud Plugins application in Photoshop. The other three cannot be found in the Creative Cloud Plugin Manager Application. However, loopdeck is saved in the Applications>Photoshop 2022> Plugins folder. Not the Adobe Creatvie Cloud Plugins Folder that the 2019 article here talks about (link: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/plugins-aren-t-showing-up/m-p/1021803...

I was hoping that the answer was in the link to the other thread I found!

Did you check with the makers of the missing plugins? Hav they updated them to work with the version of PS you are running?
