Photoshop doesn't start without internet connection

I have Creative Cloud with PS and LR and I share that on three computers, one desktop (always activated) and two laptops. which makes CC sign me out on one computer as I switch. This usually works well if I am online, it shows me the three PCs and asks me which one to deactivate. However, if there is no internet connection, Photoshop doesn't start up if it wasn't activated before. Instead of the "Remind me later" button, I only get RETRY or CLOSE PS. Lightroom does start up without a problem, though.

I am aware of the normal behavior as it should be: Internet connectivity, offline grace period, and reminders | Adobe Creative Cloud apps

Why is there no grace period for this, they must imagine that people are in airplanes or a remote cabin and cannot go online, they should allow at least a few days for this.

Thanks for pointers.

worth looking at autosync as well guys i.e, turn it off when you travel or Adobe will be ever so helpful and download | upload all your cloud files BEFORE Photoshop fully opens

Well if you think about, that grace period would allow people to breach their Terms & Conditions by having more than two systems activated at the same time.

For a few days? I'm sure that would make Adobe go bankrupt! Come on, who would rely on that to use it as a loophole? The fact that they keep track of the PCs and show you to select one to deactivate tells me that there are many people doing this. You can use data mining to figure out if somebody abuses this.

Photoshop Starts and works fine without a network connection. So you do not need a network connection to use Photoshop you just need an activated machine.

You cause the problem for yourself wanting to use  your single user licence on three machines where you are only allowed two activated computers  at any time one for you  work computer and one for your mobile computer.   To use a third computer you need to deactivate an activated computer to be able to activate the third computer.  Deactivation and Activation requires connecting to an Adobe activation server. If you want to be able to use three computers at once you need a different licence.  Or two subscriptions with different  Adobe accounts then you can have four activation. To for each single user subscription..

I'm NOT trying to use it on three computers simultaneously, only on one actively, actually, as nobody else has access to this account. Two activated, one inactive. I'm fine with having to sign out of one, as needed, it just caught me off-guard in the airplane. Next time I know, although I might still forget. Since Adobe checks on the application when I start it, they might as well monitor if it is actually loaded. If not, allow another computer. Done.
