PhotoShop: How do I remove the new "Handles" from an image in CROP Mode?

After the last Creative Cloud update (21.0.3), every image that I open has a thick, white "handle" at each corner and one midway between each corner once the CROP tool is selected.

Is there a configuration option that will remove these handles, or at least render them transparent? They actually interfere with precision cropping.

Please see image attached.

Hello, Photoshop 22; that has just been released today, does have fix the large crop handles as seen in its fixed issues list https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html#photoshop-desktop-fixed-issues

I recommend to install it while keeping the older version installed, as explained in: https://helpx.adobe.com/be_en/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html

If you are not seeing it, go to help>check for updates in your CC application.

I think it is better than to use the classic mode.

When in the Crop tool look for the cog icon within the Options bar at the top of Photoshop. From within that menu activate the option "Use Classic Mode".
