Photoshop "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document"

Hello,

We seem to be having an issue with one our employees opening .TIF files on her photoshop app. We're using Windows 10 Pro, Photoshop 2022 v.23.2.2.32

She gets the common error: "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document."

We have other employees running the same Photoshop version, but on the newest build of Mac Monterey. They are all able to open the .TIF files that our Windows employee is having trouble with.

They are saving the file as a .TIF in Photoshop itself, so I would assume it could open the file back up.

Is this a known issue with Windows version of Photoshop?

Thanks. Yeah, if you can strip out layers and content to make the file sharable that would be most helpful. You can DM a link if you like.

Unfortunately, due to the content of the file, I am unable to share the files that we have, but I will work with my associate to get a file that is shareable with the same issues.

For now, I can supply this. I know the file is a .tif file, and I know it functions correctly on Macs in the office. It's just the PC my associate uses that is giving issues and won't reopen after she saves it as a .tif file.
