Something for the weekend - Part 85 - Lady of the coast.
Hi
Thanks to Jane and Trevor for putting up the last two SFTW challenges, whilst I was away. It was fun looking at the images when I returned.
I snapped this statue using my phone in Morro Jable, Fuerteventura. She is looking out to sea and the statue, by Juan Miguel Cubas, title is called “Homenaje a las mujeres costeras” which I believe translates as “Tribute to coastal women”. So, for this week's challenge, can you show us more of the story, why is she there, what is she looking at?
Anything goes as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright etc.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert.
