I have been having inconsistencies with the Reference and Current not matching on comparison view. Even when on the same frame of the same clip. I've tried various things. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi @Ian328481533ooz

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums! We are glad to see you here. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue. Please see, How do I write a bug report ? Are you trying to compare the color after you choose the color management for the A7s iii footage? Have you tried setting the preview file format and codec to something like Pro Res 444 or another codec besides LT? And in your image attached Is this Program monitor and Source monitor footage you are comparing? Th

Could you explain what you mean by reference and current, do you mean source and program monitor?

Which version/build of Premiere? As in 25.2.0 ?

And nomenclature matters. Premiere had a specific named Reference monitor, which it no longer has in 25.x.

So are you talking the older Reference monitor, in an earlier version, or the image used on in the Comparison view side-to-side wipe process? Or the Comparison view with two separate images side by side?

Hi @Ian328481533ooz

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums! We are glad to see you here. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue. Please see, How do I write a bug report ? Are you trying to compare the color after you choose the color management for the A7s iii footage? And in your image attached Is this Program monitor and Source monitor footage you are comparing? The actual reference monitor in app was also removed in Premiere Pro ver 25 so I would assume you are looking at an external reference monitor connected to your system via devices like AJA or Blackmagic Design boxes correct?

Thanks for submitting your bug report. I hope we can help you soon. Sorry for the frustration!

Thanks,

Ian
