I am an editor for Twitch Streamers. I download content off Twitch for all of them. On ONE creator's content for some reason, I am getting a constant error between the graphics text tool and the crop video effect leading to hundreds -> THOUSANDS of low level exceptions.
Upon updating Adobe Premiere past 24.5 to 24.6.1, even having text in the same sequence auto crashes Premiere. The report can't even be opened through Acrobat. So I downgraded back to 24.5 and it works, the text is writable and the content exportable, but it still pours out low level exception errors with every letter typed.
Sequence is in portrait 1080x1920 for shorts platforms like TikTok
60 FPS
Adobe Premiere Version 24.5 = Low Level Exception occured in: Crop (AEVideoFilter:11)
Adobe Premiere Version 24.6.1 = IMMEDIATE program crash

Attempted Solutions (all failed)
- Updating Premiere
- Clearing Media Cache
- Resetting app preferences
- Uninstalling & reinstalling Premiere
- Starting a new project from scratch
- Changing font type, size, etc.
The only "solution" is to not use the crop video effect, but that isn't a good solution as I utilize it in tandem with drop shadow. I do know I can use a mask instead of a crop, but I want to diagnose WHY this is happening first and only on this person's content. All other clients I have can have their content cropped with text in the same sequence format with no issue. Attached below are the specs of the video files from this particular creator, the errors, and the crash report.
