Essential graphics template search/filter function not working

When I use the search/filter funtion in Essential Graphics, it does not work.

In the attachments, you can see I have multiple MOGRT preset with the name including "Title", but when i search "Title" nothing shows up.

 

Sure I can still use the MOGRT preset, however since I have a lot of presets installed, I dont want to be scrolling for a long time to fine the one I want to use.

Has anyone encountered the same issue? If so, how did you solved this?

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver)

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Actually, changeded  my computer ,This problem occurred.

Have you tried reinstalling the application?

Yes,I did but ıt didnt work

only , I coulnt browse section(my templates) but I can see adobe stock

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info. So you can add the templates to the Timeline but you just don't see the previews. Is that the issue? Let me dig into that issue a bit more and see what I can find. In the meantime, contact the IT Admin for your school and file a bug. They can take it up with Adobe Enterprise support to solve your issue, as well. I hope the info helps and keep us in the loop.

Hi all,

 

installed 24 (build 58) on PC Windows. Everything works fine except for the preview of thumbnails in Essential Graphics. The strange thing is that I can't see them in 'My Thumbnails,' but they work perfectly in Adobe Stock thumbnails. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere Pro 24, but the issue persists. They were working in the previous version. Any ideas on how to solve the problem? I have many mogrts that I've created with AE for my projects, and not having visual previews slows down my workflow significantly. Since a windows update I think, essential graphics preview will not show thumbnail or motion preview in the list(Adobe originals and third party ones). I deleted all .mogrt files and replaced them but still not shown preview.

Sorry that's happening to you. Can you tell me the following:

  • Premiere Pro version number
  • Operating system with version number
  • Does the mogrt load correctly in the Program monitor after applying it to the timeline?
  • Do you have enough memory on disk?

 

Next steps:

  • Check if your GPU driver needs to be updated
  • Try deleting the media cache

Thanks for your response. Little side info: the problem exists since about 4 or 5 months. In the between time i also updated Premiere Pro.

Premiere Pro Version is 24.1.0

Operating system is Windows 10 Home version 22H2

When i drop mogrt presets on the timeline they work normally and i can edit them as usual.

Memory on c:// is 55gb and on d:// 230gb.

GPU driver has the latest update.

I deleted media cache in Premiere Pro and manually in the common folder.

Nothing works.

Thanks for your quick response @Felix34172337zg0t! Several users have seen this issue, but we've been unable to reproduce it in-house so far.

 

Could you

  • Tell me what your GPU is
  • Shut down Premiere Pro.
  • Go to the following directory (swap out Your Computer Name to your computer's name)

 

C:\Users\Your Computer Name\AppData\Local\Temp\ProBrowser

 

  • Tell me if the thumbnails in there are black or not
  • Delete all of the thumbnail files
  • Leave the folder open and move it to another monitor to watch it
  • Launch Premiere Pro
  • Open the Essential Graphics panel

 

Did the folder re-populate with thumbnails? Are the thumbnails still black?

My GPU is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER.

 

I tried to follow your steps but the name of the folder ,,my computers name'' (in my case it's called,,Felix Mühlberg '')can't be changed.  

 

I opened up the folder ,,ProBrowser'' but it's empty.

Hi there!

Sorry about the trouble. Which version of AE did you use to create graphics? For testing, can you try creating a new template with the latest version of AE and see if that can be seen in thumbnails?

We've been able to replicate the issue and are working on a fix. Thanks so much for bringing it to our attention and providing detailed information.

 

The workaround in the meantime would be to change your Windows User Account to change the character with the umlaut to a non-special character (a-z 0-9).

As in description, preview of titles from essential graphics window not working (blank)
