Autosave does nothing

This isnt a "blog post" this is a complaint about a technical issue.
I dont want any comments or anything.  I dont need them.
this whole blogging and community idea is just another way for us to be unpaid to do their jobs for them.
neither you nor I are getting paid to type this S word. so dont.
I just want people to do their job and nothing more.
You dont see me going into your home and doing your plumbing at your expense.
ive had autosave on for over a year now, and its never actually saved every 2 minutes.
Im really tired of losing hours and hours of work because setting to "every 2 minutes" does nothing ever.
Also why in the world would there be ANY other options. forget the cloud, who cares about internet, my life is irrelevant of the internet.
and what the world is this "autosave current project" option.
what in the h word would you even possibly be saving? i really dont give a single s word about projects im not using.
I NEVER want multiple projects open at a time. ONLY ever open one project, close any other projects if i open another, and save whatever singular project im working on.
I swear people need to stop coding, and stop making new things. all these options are like "would you like to send all your money to h word badman, or would you like to shoot yourself in the foot?" like dude, just make normal software. stop programming stuff, and making useless and random crap. autosave is a simple concept. im working on a project, and it saves that project every specified amount of time. if anyone feels the need to do more, they need to go to jail. we dont accept that sociopathy in civilized society. 
Im tired of having to wipe your developers a word for them every d word day.
I dont work here, but i do more than anyone else seems to do.
