How do you adjust the VR Mobius Zoom transition when editing in VR180 to achieve the effect in the Skybox video (link below)?

Hi,

This is a question on how to achieve the zooming forward effect in the video below. When I add the VR Mobius zoom transition to my video clips, it results in a pan transition and not a transition with a centered forward motion. When I adjust the settings in the transition, I can move the next clip to the center but I get a hard edge around it even if I bump up the feather setting all the way. There seems to be no way to achieve the desired effect. Can someone please advise?
