Import error

Hi all,

I am trying to import videos into a new PremierePro project and it says:

A low-level exception occurred in Insta360Importer (Importer 39).

This happens when I import both 360 footage and normal video footage from Mavic 3 drone and Sony A7r III camera. 

This happens all the time now, there is no way for me to start a new project in PremierePro.

 

The footage is quite heavy it's mostly 4k or 5k.

 

I emptied all Cache multimple times.

I restared my MacMini multiple times.

I unistalled and reinsatlled PremierePro multiple times.

I uninstalled all Adobe Creative Cloud and reinstalled it once.

I moved all the footage from hard disk to desktop and created a new PremierePro project in desktop and still the same error pops up. 

I gave all the RAM possible to PremierePro in preferences which now is 29GB RAM just for PremierePro. 

 

I used PremierePro Beta and there the import was working better but still the message popped up at some point. Only upon restarting of the computer the import seemed to work better. But I cannot restart the computer everytime I import something. 

 

It's been 2 days already and a lot of hours spent on this single issue.

Does anyone know what is going on?

 

I am currently downloading DaVinci Resolve hoping to be ablt to make my project there because PremierePro is just stuck.

Yes it was all solved when I removed the plugin. Yes maybe it was an old one. But I didnt manage to find the update online. Just instructions on how to install it and use it. How I solved it was:

Opening PremierePro Beta

Importing succesfully the 360 videos insv format
Deleting the plugin Insta360 importer

Importing all the other footage succesfully into the PremierePro project

 

Another way I solved this was:

Opening the insv files in Insta360studio exporting them as .mov files in full original qualit

Have you tried removing or updating the Insta360 plugin?

Hey Matteo,

Could you try the most recent version of Insta360 Studio (4.7.1)? It was released last week, and the notes mention some bug fixes. Let us know if you still see the issue.
