Hello.  Definitely I am new to Premier Pro and just want to show a draft video to someone externally to Adobe Ecosystem.

We do have a Lightroom CC setup and store creatives and photos for external publishing to web/access to others outside of adobe.

1) How the heck do we give someone access to the draft video to simply view it?        We used to use a Youtube channel to send a link of unlisted video for someone to preview & give us edits. I don't see a way to do the Youtube method for previews without a major investment in time to do these steps (which I'm not sure are even accurate) Premier video export, download avi file & upload to youtube channel.

2) Once we have  a video edited and ready to publish is Lightroom CC a good place to store/publish from for Premier Videos

2b)How do you get the video final to Lightroom CC, if it is a good place to store/publish.

2c)If Lightroom is not the best place, where is?

Thanks, Stephanie

I came into video post from a LONG career as a stills portrait photographer. As is my wife ... our studio has been our livelihood over 40 years.

When I started video post about 6/7 years back, I expected it to be similar to my (then) vast knowledge of working stills in Lightroom and Photoshop. However ... as I've been nearl totally in video during this time, I'm now considering myself not much in Lightroom, and less in P-shop. The video world is SO different.

Lightroom has some small abilities to store and track video ... but not enough to bother with, really.

You can of course export a small file in say H.264 and use the export settings to manually upload to Vimeo/YouTube.

Another ... and probably for most shops, better ... option is to use either Wipster or Frame.io. These are plugin services for collaborating with outside people, including the ability for the 'outsider' to put notes right on the media itself within the applet. You get a window of the plugin, and select what you want to send and who to send it to. The recipient opens the invite, sees the media within the plugin's viewer, and can comment even on specific frames. Visible in the media window ... text on the media frame.

    Wipster ... https://wipster.io/

    Frame.io ... https://frame.io/
