pen tool doesn't work on audio track

I don't understand why i can't modify my audio track with the pen tool, I tried everything but nothing works.

Hi,

Did you expand the Audio track to make the audio level (gray line ) visible and then use the pen tool to create the anchor points.

Make sure Show Audio Keyframes is checked under the Wrench.

On a side note you dont need to use the Pen tool.

Ctrl+click with the selection tool will also give keyframes.
