Switching from a 4k to a 1080 sequence

I'm working with a long 4k sequence and I want to switch to a 1080 one. My thought is to make a new sequence and copy and paste everything from the 4k sequence into the 1080 one.

1. I'm guessing I will need to individually set to frame size all of my 4k clips in the new 1080 sequence? Is there an easier way?

2. Any other ways of switching from a 4k to 1080 sequence?

3. Anything else I should know before doing this?

Thank you.

Set your Preferences option for scaling to "Set to frame-size ", for general work purposes.

Copy the clips to your new sequence. If needed, as I recall you can select groups of clips and set scaling including "set to ...". See if that works.

Go into the sequence settings and change the resolution from 4K to 1920x1080. That is all.

Yes, just select all clips (ctrl+A) in timeline, right click and Set to Frame Size.

Create a new sequence 1080 and simply drag the sequence 4K in the timeline of the sequence 1080, click on "Keep existing settings" in the dialog box. Then to the nested sequence you give right click / Set to Frame Size.

Nest it in the new sequence. Edit within the nest.
