Zoom tool or magnifying glass that will allow me to enlarge parts of the screen of video

. In certain videos I need to capture the whole screen instead of the region because of the nature of the content I am presenting. I am screencasting, and I noticed that my videos are too small to read on tiktok. As the video of my presentation is moving along, is there a way for me to zoom in or magnify the part of the screen that I want the viewer to pay attention to so they can see clearly what I am showing them? Thank-You.

One way:

Duplicate the clip on a video track above the main track.  Apply the crop effect or use an opacity mask.

Then keyframe the scale and position in the Effects Control panel.

Keep in mind that increasing the scale will result in loss of resolution.

One approach is to right-click and replace the clip with an After Effects Composition and then use the Magnify Effect on the AE side.

Magnify Effect - After Effects Tutorial

When you click back to Premiere Pro, you'll see the results in the After Effects Comp that replaced your clip in the Timeline.

Thank-you for sharing this technique. It's also something that I am going to experiment with.

OH, I see, I do have AE, as well, and what you describe appears to be an interesting technique, I will definitely be giving it a shot.

For the meantime I am also playing around with a zoom feature, I found in my screencasting
