FEEDBACK BAD UI. Clip Marker names displayed in timeline [v.2025] after latest update now cut off

In the latest version of premiere pro clip marker label names are now cut off when you trim a selected layer. This is most obvious if you zoom into the timeline [see attached] and attempt to do detailed work. When you zoom back out the label name then rolls back out. This creates a very annoying workflow issue for anyone working with long lable names. If the name is longer than the length of the clip on the timeline when zoomed out you can't read it. If you zoom in as in previous versions [like v.2024] to see what it should say you can now [v.2025] only see a blank label. Obviously if I reveal each individual clip in the source bin I can see what it says. However, I scan through tons of clips on a timeline and the idea that the best way now is to open each one, one by one is a massive time waste. Please allow me to undo this new UI feature and allow label names to remain static and therefore readable when I zoom in and scrub through. Thank you!

@defaultjipdqvw8uamr,

I now understand what you mean by "cut off." Depending on the amount of zoom, the marker name may appear cut off.

I would describe it this way. In PR 2024.6.5, when a marker with duration is cut, the name is repeated on the timeline in each marker section. As you zoom in and out, the amount of the name that shows changes, but some of it is always visible in that section.

In PR 2025.2.3 (and PR Beta 20225.4.0.10), the name is only visible in the first section, but continues into later sections as you zoom in.

I can see how the new behavior could be by design, because this is actually one marker - when edited, it is only the starting timecode and duration that is in the marker, and keyboard shortcuts go only to the beginning timecode of the whole marker - not to any section's beginning.

However, as you point out, editing like this would be maddening!

I'm Win 10.
