Label the Tracks

Hey everyone!

I was wondering, if there is a possibility to label the whole track, not just the clips.

Sadly I didn't find this function, but I think this is very useful in the workflow, If youre zoomed out.

It would be possible to distinguish each track with one quick glimpse of an eye.

I know that there is the possibility to label each type of Clip, Video, Audio, Still and so on, but not the whole track.

I would like to see that feature in the future!

I watched the video already and it's regarding to the naming of the tracks.

My tracks are all named, but not colored. Thats missing.

That is the first thing I do is customize the header.

So when they are collaps the name is still visible.

It is quite helpful. In my workflow I feel that a trackcolor could be just a bit faster than that.

Thats almost it. This works similar to the Color Labels in Pr.

The track has a definetive color, which the clip then takes on.

I would like to have the track itself have a color, not just the clip I put on it.

This has been asked many times, as yes, Avid workers and ProTools folks are used to setting track colors to show different types of media. Would be very handy.

I can definitely see that being practical as long as there was an option to toggle it on and off as well as not conflict with track targeting and source patching targeting.

In Audition, you can set track colors, same as in ProTools/Avid et al.

Would be SO handy to have in Premiere ...
