Question for combined workspace - timeline view - bin view preset setup for GUI efficiency

Dear Adobe Team,

could it be possible to integrate bin view presets and different timeline view presets into workspaces so they can be safed within custom workspaces.

Depending on the workspace I would like to save a timeline view preset and bin view preset within a workspace.

I want that feature so one could better focus on the work at hand by only clicking once a custom workspace keyboard shortcut without additionally dialing in bin view and timeline view presets. Would be more efficient.

For professionals a straigt forward UI configuration should be the goal. That would'nt even conflict with the 'mousy-icon-fancied' beginners approach of the UI, but would justify the professional image Adobe is selling with Premiere Pro.

Another thing that irritates me is that after a workspace change the selected window changes. Could be an option in preferences to check whenever you change a workspace the selected window (timeline for eksample) should be kept. Or every workspace has a predefined selected window that is safed within the workspace.

Or maybe I missed something and it is possible? Advice would be most appreciated.

If I come back to a workspace it resets my bin view to list view. Annoying. It is as far as I see it an inherited bug that sometimes accure.

I agree with this...and I'll go one further by saying that a Workspace should be a snapshot of how all windows are layed out. I work with dual monitors, and have various windows and panels organized how I use them - even with a Workspace selected, evert time I begin a new project, some of the panels need to be dragged around and reattached. Annoying.

Workspaces should save that state of your, um, workspace.

Partial fix for bin view behaviour:

When changing back and forth my workspaces it would not stay in same bin view (list, thumbnail,  ). I found out that you might try to exchange project bin and normal bin to get a fix.

So I took a normal bin with footage in it and clickt on the folder icon (with the upwards arrow in it) in the bin on the left beside folder name for so long until it became the project bin (most upper folder hierarchy is the project). I went into my previous project bin double clicked  on the footage foulder/ bin. Then I exchanged project and footage bin, arranged it and from there on when changing workspaces my footage bin stayed in the correct bin view.

Another approach is to close all bins and project bin. Save. Close the project (cmd/ctrl+shift+W). Reopen the project. No bins, no project window should be seen at this point. Go to the menu->windows and open the project bin/window.  From here open the bins you need (opt/alt+double click on bin in now open project window).

I think this all started when at a time I accidently closed the project bin and then reopened.

I think Adobe should look into this to get a fix for this.
