This is a great request that is certainly something we want to implement. Rest assured our engineers DO understand the importance of this feature and how to get the job done. We also know that the performance and stability of the app should be our #1 priority and that is where our focus is right now.
Can I add my begging-aupport about color-chart support. It's the main reason why we're about to abandon Premiere Pro in favour of Resolve once our current project is finished. Yes, I know it's possible to have a round-trip workflow to Resolve, but it's VERY VERY time-consuming and intrusive.
In this day and age, with multi-camera shoots using a variety of different cameras, it's essential and Resolve does it so well.
This feature is a glaring omission from Premiere. The free version of Resolve has it and in Premiere Pro there is nothing? That makes me regret my CC subscription.
I am new to Premiere Pro and video editing in general, but I have been a Photoshop user since v3.0. How is it that Adobe has not included the color checker option in Premiere? Very disappointed
I've been working for nearly two years on a base template to help makerspaces implement two and three shot videospaces for Maker & Tutorial videos. The color is always where they give-up on Adobe CC. Audition is amazing and makers love the ecosystem around AE. Please, please fix this one weakness in Premiere.
still waiiting... hopefully you can do it before the end of the year. it really is criminal that you dont have it yet. And yes, totally worth it to take an engineer off debugging to work on it.
I just am a little astounded that Premiere doesn’t have this functionality in 2019... agree with the other poster, it’s worth diverting some resources to implement
It's hard to believe Adobe has not implemented that feature yet. We're also looking into changing to Resolve, considering they're getting stronger and stronger on the overall feature set and usablity.
