Bonjour,

Hi, if there's someone on that point?  I have the same problem described upabove.

I started to create my subtitle with several indepandant titles with shadows and details.

But In the middle of my translation I finaly discovered the Legend process to edit normaly the subtitles so I continued with it.

Is there a possibility to transform my vidéo track related to my undred titles in a Legend subtitle type by exporting the video track before reimport in the good form?

I am not sure how you mean the word "legend," but I think the answer is no.

I assume you created some "subtitles" as text Titles - using the Legacy Title tool or the new Essential Graphics.

There is no direct way to convert those to Captions or Subtitles that would allow exporting as Open Captions or Closed Captions.

    Hi Stan,

thanks for your quick answer as bad news it gives!!

It is really desappointed because titles have some great details like the shadows that are not editable with the subtitle windows called "legend" in the french traduction.

In my 30 mn movie, I've already 100 titles for the first 17mn and then I continued with the Sub title process because I needed to creat .srt file that is finaly worse rendering than my first titles!!

So I have now a decision to do, continue with Legends files that are not well readable when background is in white on my B/W movie based on old archives, or continue with titles well presented but couldn't be switch on DVD menue, so burned on all the movoe version!!

On that case, I'll have to edit some movie burned DVD with subtitles and some burned DVD without.

    It's really a shame!

Why the subtitles process do not give the chance to edit the shadow background rather than a large rectangle background unsizable with different color?

    All the best, Fab
