Can I make WebHelp search treat underscores as spaces?

Our docs contain lots of references to UNIX commands with underscores in their names.

Is there some way to reconfigure RoboHelp 9's WebHelp output so that a search for e.g. "mailer daemon" returns results for mailer_daemon?

Not that I know of.

The only thing I can think of is to approach WrenSoft to ask if it can be done with their ZoomSearch program as is or by some wizardry they can show you or perform for you.

Something to thing about is if the user searches on "one two three" should the search add underscores between just the first two words or or between all words.

If anyone can find a solution, they will.

How to use ZoomSearch in a RoboHelp project is covered on my site. WrenSoft offer a limited free version you could use with a test project for research.

I don't want the search to *add* underscores to the search string, I want it to ignore them in the searched text, the way Google and Acrobat search do.

ZoomSearch sounds interesting.

Adding underscores to what is searched or ignoring them the content that is being searched is pretty close.

Let us know if Wrensoft are able to help.
