I submitted a batch of 70 files for review 9 weeks ago. They are still sitting there. Meanwhile, I have since submitted several batches of 20+ files which have all been reviewed immediately. Does Adobe just not see those 70 files?
9 weeks is not that long a time in the present overall scheme of things. If you are getting images reviewed in the meantime, be patient. The older ones will most likely be reviewed at some point. If more than 5 months go by (I doubt that will happen in this case, but maybe a couple orphans might get left behind), then we've been recommending deleting and resubmitting.
Many Contributors have report review delays of 2-3 months, so 9 weeks isn't bad. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to hasten the review of our assets. Be patient.
You have two possibilities. You wait for them getting moderated, or you cancel them and resubmit. As you have 70 files and new submissions get moderated within days, you can try deleting one of the submissions and resubmitting.
That's all you can do.

Same with me, some of the files to be processed have been lying around for 5 months.... I think that they do not have any commercial value and if someone remembers about them, they will be rejected anyway...

So you can save you a refusal and delete them. If you check the asset, the delete option is "hidden" on the right side (text side) of the screen, down, near the original filename.

Thanks for your replies. So what I hear people saying:

Point 1: Yes, the 8 weeks is "bogus." For many contributors, it has been 3 months or longer.
Point 2: Since the issue has been around for a number of months now, I highly suspect Adobe is aware of the problem. It probably has a lot to do with AI, with some contributors submitting 100 or more assets per session on a regular basis. But that's just a guess on my part.

Yes, the 8-week "estimate" is meaningless and Adobe has seldom changed that message, in spite of widely varying review times over the last 2 years since the advent of AI. You can contact Adobe via the "Contact Us" link on your contributor account page; however when it comes to inquiries related to review times, they usually just reply with a canned, meaningliess response. I have resubmitted some assets and deleted the old "stuck" versions by opening up 2 tabs in my browser on my Contributor page. I upload the asset I intend to resubmit on one tab, then jump over to the other tab to copy the titles and keywords, then paste those into the image to be submitted. Then go back and delete the old "stuck" image. It takes far less time than re-entering titles and keywords manually. Try it on a few of your stuck images to see if it makes any difference.

Thanks for the resubmit suggestion - great idea.

1) They changed that text from "a few days" to "8 weeks", when they were around 8 weeks waiting time. It's really difficult to distinguish between long waiting times and a bug. And there is a bug in the Adobe submission system that makes some submissions not to get moderated
2) You're correct. For some submissions it's a glitch, for others it's simply overcharge of the moderation system. And you have to wait a long time, before you will know. Adobe is aware of the glitch, as it is an old issue, but as they did not fix it by now, I suppose they don't know how.
3) Exact. You can however first load the asset and copy titles and keywords and then delete the old submission. You can check that with one or two assets, prior to proceed with all of your assets.
4) I suppose your addressing me (it would be easier to reference the person, btw). If you read the thread correctly, I did not reply to you, but to @LENA BUKOVSKY, who said: "...they will be rejected anyway...", and that for her submissions. You understand the logic.

4) I see that now - sorry for misreading it.

After 9 months, here is my final update to this issue. I submitted two support requests to Adobe Contributor Support (after 2 months and after 6 months) and received two case numbers with barely relevant email reponses, but no follwoup. This has led me to the conclusion that Adobe Contrtibutor Support doesn't actually exist. It's at best an unmonitored account with a few autoreply rules. Here is the second "interaction:"
My submission:
Adobe Case 00348648. Please tell me what's happening with this. It's been over 2 months since I reported the issue. I received one canned response about submission guidelines, review times, etc. which was not at all helpful. It's now been over 6 months since I submitted the 70 files in question. And I've since submitted over 200 that have all been reviewed within a few days while these 70 still sit unreviewed. Please do not send me another useless canned response. This issue is clearly not normal. Thank you.
Adobe's response:
Dear Scott,
Thank you for contacting us. We have received your message and your case number is 00376860. A comprehensive overview and detailed information on most questions can be found in our Guide for Adobe Stock Contributors.
I received this repsonse on April 25 and as I said, there has been no followup from Adobe. Lesson learned: don't bother to contact Adobe Contributor Support - it's a waste of your time.
I took Jill's suggestion of opening two browser windows and copying keywords from the dead submitted files to the newly uploaded files. That saved me a lot of time. Thanks, Jill! That was 4 days ago. About half of the 70 files have already been reviewed.

Oh wow - great to hear that the resubmit suggestion worked for you. I've had mixed success with that strategy myself. I deleted and submitted some, and they still waited for a few more months. I did it again on other assets, and they were reviewed quickly. About 8 that were a year old were suddenly reviewed and accepted without me having to do anything. But I still have a handful that have waited from 6-12 months. I think I'll delete and repost those soon.
It's just weird that Adobe has not been able to, or has not bothered to, come up with a programmatic solution to those assets that fall into a black hole...
