Pending payment since 23 May. I am in South Africa. I selected Paypal instead of Payoneer.

Good day. I requested a payout on the 23rd of May to my Paypal Account. I see the payment status still says pending and after reading the help section i see i need a Payoneer account as i'm in South Africa. Please advise what i should do now?

Hi! I'm in SA too and receive my payments through PayPal. Usually takes about a week to receive the payment. Haven't had any issues with receiving money, it's just a little slow 🙂

You will need to wait for the payout to fail, before you can change something.

Wait 15 business days. If you don't receive funds by then, contact Stock Contributor Support from your contributor portal.

It takes 10 working days. Today is day 8, so you can expect payment early next week.

Counting only business days, I'm counting 5-6 days since you've requested payment and that wouldn't be concerning at this point.

 

In terms of selecting PayPal instead of Payoneer, try contacting Contributor Support.  It'll likely be a few days before they reply, and expect for them to reply during business hours, not on weekends.

I used to receive it via Paypal, but i see they changed the requirements
effective 1 March 2023. Have you received payment via Paypal after March
2023?

Thank you kindly 🙂 I was soooo worried that it might be lost forever, but
the payment did come through via paypal. Happiness 🙂

Either the payout works or fails. There may be a reason for the Payoneer requirement.
