Hi all.

I have a standard license for an image of a facial machine. The company's lawyer sent a "cease and desist" letter.

What recourse do I have?

Thanks in advance.

Dealing with legal stuff can be super stressful, I feel you. Once, I found myself in a similar situation with a copyright issue. It's tough, but seeking legal advice is your best bet. I remember feeling overwhelmed, but reaching out to a reliable attorney really helped clarify my options. I recently stumbled upon an article (https://federal-lawyer.com/criminal-law/federal-appeals/florida/) that highlighted the importance of having a strong legal team behind you, especially in complex cases like federal appeals in Florida.

I fear that with this little information no one here can give you any advice.

Thanks for the response.

What more info is needed?

I have a subscription, used an image, I received a lawyer's letter saying that I can't use an image of "their cleint's" product, my license says I can. I just need to kmow how to escalate this. In my opinion, it's just as much a problem for Adobe as it is for me.

Does this better explain the situation?

I am NOT trying to get the photo removed.

I want to know what I can do/reply to these people.

A conrtibutor uploaded a photo. Judging by the content (because it is staged), it would appear that they had permission to take the photo in the first place.

The company which makes the machine is saying that i must take down the photo of "the machine that they make".

I think that I can use it....i need to know Adobe's stance on this.
