Another issue is that when creating a square shape, it always starts with 1px rounded corners, which should not be the default. By @Simple Brand Studio I cannot reproduce this on my end. In fact, even when I change the corner radius to 1px on each side after drawing the rectangle, creating a new rectangle results in 0px rounded corners. Which version of Photoshop are you using?

Are you referring to the Dodge tool in the toolbar? The Dodge tool is inherently destructive, meaning it permanently modifies pixel data unless applied to a duplicated layer — and even then, its outcomes can be imprecise and more challenging to fine-tune. Today, there are more controlled, non-destructive alternatives available that offer significantly better flexibility and results.

I'm using Photoshop 26.8.1 on Windows, and from what I’ve observed, this seems to be a custom keyboard shortcut issue. When I try to assign the tilde (~) as a shortcut for Brush Toggle Erase while English is set as the input language, Photoshop throws an error and blocks the assignment. My investigation suggests that certain preferred shortcuts may be restricted.

From what I can see on the internet, your GPU supports DirectX 12, and you should not have any problems. There is also an option in Preferences > Technology Previews > Older GPU Mode as a quick and temporary solution.

I believe you should loop through the layers, meaning you need to select each individual layer and resize them one at a time, rather than all at once. Therefore, a ready-made script as already pointed by @Stephen Marsh would be your best friend.

Data sets are very particular, errors can cause spaces after the last input in any row. Once, I created a macro to check for and delete any extra spaces at the end of each line in the data sets file.

We need more details. What are the names of the processed files/videos? Even if you record an action without a file name, if the file has the same name as a previously saved one, it may overwrite the existing file. That's my opinion without deeper research and testing.

I completely agree with @Anshul_Saini this is normal and expected behavior. There are many situations where a patch should blend with adjacent objects or pixels. From my investigation, you can still use Reselect from the Select menu to correct the mask if needed.

If I understand your problem correctly, it seems that everything functions properly on Windows, Ps version 26.8.0. Reverting smart objects with transforms back to layers and selecting "Do Not Show Again" does not impact anything; it is possible to create Smart Objects from layers back and forth without any issues.
