Hi! Is there a way to draw paths with the Pen tool that include a Stroke Profile? It seems like every time I draw a path with the Pen tool, the Profile resets to "Uniform", which forces me to reselect/reapply the desired Profile afterwards. Thanks! Chris.

Hi, I have a problem with the position measurement of my crop marks. For example, here is the position of the lower right vertical crop mark. It is wrong. It should be 2.125". When I Cut/Paste in place, the measurement is now good: However, if I deselect, and reselect, the problem comes again: What is going on? Thanks! Chris.

I uninstalled InDesign, reinstalled it. Nothing works. I deleted old preferences and caches as described here: CC 2018 InDesign—Don't Import previous settings and preferences and still nothing works. I can't duplicate, I can't resize, etc. I need to finish this contrat by the end of this morning and I really need help. Thanks!

I've been asked by a moderator to ask a completely different question on this same thread. This will obviously confuse people. So I hope you will be kind enough to answer both of my questions here. Thanks. MY SECOND QUESTION: Hiding selection/bounding box I would like to know if there is a way to hide the selection/bounding box/edges of a selected object in InDesign because it bothers me when I work. In Illustrator, I can do View > Hide Bounding box + View > Hide Edges. But in InDesign, I hid everything I could, and nothing works: Thanks!

Because I trace a lot of calligraphy using the Pen/Width Tools, and it would make my workflow much faster. Imagine being able to work like this all the time: I have my template at the bottom layer, and my tracing on the top layer. Working in Outline View permits me to see my template. The possibility to see the widths of my paths (using the Width Tool) in Outline View would permit me to see them "live in action"...

Hi! I used a vector mask to mask an object from its background in Photoshop. I know I can apply a general feather in the mask properties. However, the object is more fuzzy around the edges in some places. If I was using a layer mask, I would use the brush with a low hardness to those zones to make them more fuzzy on the sides. Is something similar possible with vector masks? Thanks! Chris.
